I'am running the the high rev as well and over sized valves with FCR's and there is not to many bikes that will hang with me. I'm very happy with.

Raptor660fam are you saying that you went up the red side of the double crater behind $100 hill with knobbies? If we are talking about the same hill I gotta tell you I find it hard to believe. Do you have any videos?

RAPTORAZ - I think it was 339th ave, is it in some kind of a wash? I couldn't remember what it was called. I'll be making the same trips to glamis as you with the exception of halloween, work stuff!!! And we'll head over with a few non popular weekends as well. We'll definitely have to hook up and shoo the bikes up a few times.

taftraptor - Which type of porting did you go with? the first sparks bike or the second one. I know the second one has a little different porting than the first and it actually runs faster with the midrange cam. Their bikes are supposed to be identical(or very close) to the 4SWII bikes. We all have FCR carbs as well.

BigBubba - I do not have the mild kit. I'm pretty sure it is very similar to yours. I bought it about three weeks after you bought yours from bob. Don't get me wrong my bike is fast, but their bikes were faster. It is the third time my bike has been out and it was their first time. I can definitely change a few things to help out. These were not flat drags either. These were monster hills that take about 10-25 seconds to climb and are very steep and you are at 7500 ft elevation, really kills your horsepower and jetting sucks.

RapRaider - I didn't totally get whooped on some of the hills. I lost respectibly. I'm a Bulls fan so I'm pretty used to losing for the past few years, hopefully it'll change soon on the quads and on the court!!!

speeddmn - Yes that is the same hill. I've only seen one other bike climb it with knobbies, and we've been riding their for the past twenty-five years. Not that some of the bikes could, but most people run paddles. I've never even attempted to look at that hill because (in my book) it is by far the steepest hill up there along with the hairiest. How often do you go to the Cinders?

My uncle made everyone vow not to ever attemp to climb that hill because he has had to use his fireman skills there a few times(which is too many). However, my dad started to get cocky because his bike was running so good. And to everyones amazement he flew up it in third gear. I got pissed and tried it. I was geared a little high at the time, so I had to shift to second about 3/4 of the way up but I climbed it as well!!! WOW what a rush that is one bad azz hill.

Maybe they had better gearing for those hills? Also, what kind of HP are the Sparks bikes putting out?

14mins: if you happen to read this, how well did your first 686 run with Sparks bikes? Were they alot faster too? I thought the Craycrafts were able to beat them?

On the same hill same gearing on some of the hills mine would be bogging in third while theirs would be screaming and much faster in third. BUT I do have a 01 and they have 03's and I think they are geared a little lower stock so I might need to gear down a little more.
