Hey slim, is your bike quicker geared up when dragging? From my personal experience, the Raptor like too be geared up. Apparantly taller gearing makes more efficiant use of the torque.

 

will the 15 go on with the stock guard?
if so I 'm gunna slap it on there and try some first gear launches and see what she do.....[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

Big Scarry.... It doesn't work. I put the 15 on mine and just left the guard off. My lazy **** still hasn't put it back on either.... Might should do that LOL

12 launching in second......

 

If your machine has the nuts too pack a 15, IMO, you will be quicker.....if you are slower, well you know what the problem is....so gear back down.

 

I think you are better to launch in second "JMO".

I would try to step up to a 13 and see if you can still pull 2nd launches.

Anytime you launch in first you are going to have to shift really fast (run out of gear) so if you can launch in second its a longer gear and you can eliminate an extra shift. Once again this is JMO!

 

well I have 12,13,14,15 so I guess I will do a little experimenting.........

 

Thats what I have done in the past... Just keep playing with it and to be honest I still don't think I'm at the "perfect gearing" for my quad.
