Going to Mexico tomorrow and need Jetting information
I am leaving for mexico tomorrow and need to know a good starting place for my main jet. I have an 01'Banshee with Toomey T-5's, K&N Clamp ons, 5mm mini stroker crank, full race port, cool head and 19cc domes. I run full race gas and am currently running 370 mains at 4500' above sea level. Is their a general rule of thumb of how many jet sizes to go up as you go down in elevation???
Thanks!!!

I know that in Mexicali, B.C. Mexico, you cant. Usually you can only ride quads on the roads in cities by the beach, or towns where they just dont really care, but you do need a helmet. I live 5 mins from the border and I ride in mexico all the time and I wouldnt ride my quad in a big city, a small town they probably wouldnt mind

We are going to San Felipe...on the interior coast on the sea of Cortez. I have heard it is a blast down their. ride wherever you want from what I am told. I don't really care about riding in town. Really looking forward to riding on the beach by the ocean. We are staying south of town in a house on the ocean.

If you are going to be in San Felipe and are interested in some great riding you should get on some of the SCORE and CODE off-road race courses. Head out to the Arches (at the entrance to town) and look for race markers/arrows. Here's this years map.
If ya can head out to the Matomi Wash - it's good, challenging, riding.

Well I dont know if your beach will be private or not, but riding in public beaches is not allowed, we where south of san felipe like 30mins, had the beach to ourselves. I think the camp site was "Nuevo Mazatlan" Around town you can ride your quad, just wear a helmet! So what port will you be going through? Im like 1.5 hrs from San Felipe! Spring break gets all crazy down there! On the way there just be careful with the dips the road has, if your pulling a trailer or your truck is loaded up, you might drag the hitch or bottom out the suspension. Buy insurance for everything and carry your paperwork with you when going into mexico. And most importantly, HAVE FUN AND BE SAFE!
