The Raptor is going to be SWEET! The DS-650 people should be sweating, they are no longer the big dawg on the block. I bigger & badder dawg is on his way.

Here is a good shoot out in the making.

The Raptor looks real nice, but look at the facts. It only has 49" of wheel base, 43" wide and 33" seat hight w/ a 660 cc engine. It sound good for the dunes becuase of its weight and h.p. ratio. However, it stand taller and nawworer than any of the other hi-performance quads. These dimensions combined with that engine might lead to a tippy feel when ridding cross-country or mx.

I rather like the dimensions of the Raptor but then I dont ride MX or anything like that. I run dunes and the woods of the Pacific northwest. I look at it as a Warrior with alot more oomph. Also we dont know how much the suspension will squat with a rider on board and just how it is valved. That may be the best 9" of travel ever put on a quad. Then again it might just be a really fast Warrior, really a no lose scenario for alot of people and a big disappointment for some. I love my Warrior and a faster version is just what I need. Ride whatcha like!

i went 45 miles to one dealer in a town of about 30,000 and they had 6 people with them reserved the day before release. the day after release i went 50 miles the opposite direction to a city of 100,000 and talked to the dealer, he said no one had asked and was happy to let me put a deposit on the first one. Strange enough huh? im not worried about tipping, that just means you have to ride the d@mn thing. Not just sit on it like a couch.
