My buddy opted for a wolverine today. I just was wondering how fast these are. Also could he pull my 400 Exploror polaris out of the mud if it got stuck. Thanks in advance.

Wolverine is an awsome bike..... providing you're not running stock tires. They are also really quick for a 4x4. But they're not to great at pulling anyone or anything. They've got lots of power..... in the top end, but not much in the bottom end. I've got a few power-boosting goodies on mine and I still had a hard time pulling my buddy's big bear out of a puddle. He wasn't even stuck in the mud, he just got wet and stalled out in a big puddle and I had to pull him out up hill. I did it, but my poor bike really had to work at it.

Folks....

I just got my new blue 2000 Wolverine. This bike is great!!!. Only problem I have found so far is that my damn shoes get full of mud and the mud seems to fly everywhere. I guess nothing a set of mud flaps wouldn't solve, but where is the fun in that. No seriously, this is my first bike that I have owned and I must say that I am impressed. Only thing is I have to break-in the motor before I can Pin-It. Just my 2 cents.

I have read someplace that the Wolv. will do 60 -65MPH.

Killer!!

i have a wolverine and wouldnt trade it for nothing

but one day me and a friend was riding and he got all brave on his beartracker and went through a mudwhole and got stuck and i couldnt pull him out but he was stuck realy realy bad me and him couldnt even budge the bike with both of us pushing it
but theat is why the make winches so u wont have to worry about all that
when i got my wolverine with stock tires it wasnt that good in mud but i put 25 inch dunlop kt406 on the rear and dunlop kt402 on the front and i can go through 3 times as much mud it robs alittle power on the low end but not much no telling how much more mud i am going to be ablt to go through once i get that highlifters high performance kit and bearclaws on it

I have a Team Alba Wolverine and it's pretty bad yesterday I was in mud worst than I've ever seen and it just kept going. The 25" super swampers probably help, but I wouldn't trade it for any thing. I have clocked mine at 55mph but they will run faster with the stock tires.

58? I think you are full of it.

it has the same motor as a warrior and stock they will do 56 tops. Now you have a 4x4 with more weight and you are doing 58. There is no way.
