The yfz would probably do alot better than 16's but it gets to its top speed so quick that after 1/2 way point your topped out doing a steady speed, not getting faster. Gearing would have really helped you but like you said you cant get it in time.

my track is at 4000 ft elev., most near stock quads have run in the 16 second range, one bolt on modded banshee geared up ran high 14's
my raptor with 15/40 gearing,20inch m/t slicks and wheelie bar ran 13.38,94mph,jetting was a little off and it was topped out aprox 100-150ft before the end,i think itll run 12.9-13.0 @97-98mph
the same track a lt1 firebird firehawk with bolt on goodies runs 13.8-14.10,a nos turbo eagle talon ran 13.5,nos civics high 13.-14's,seen a newer vette that only ran mid 15's
if you want good times you need to have good early numbers,a wheelie bar is recomended, two quads fliped over at the line here

Default yfz 1/4 mile

well i ran sunday and since they wouldent let me go the full 1/4 mile i had to do 1/8th and my best et was 9.30 at 67mph. pretty much sitting on the gas tank hugging the handlebars and still pulling the tires. but it was pretty bad off the line because i would wheelie every time nomatter what i tried. that translates into 14s in the 1/4 mile.. which isent to shabby for a stock quad with no wheelie bar. oh well not to bad for my first time dragging a quad.
