Ok, I want one too but which is better, the Pro Design or the IMS unit? I like the price of the steel IMS , but billet alum. sure looks pretty!

Default Raptor shifter question?

I have the pro design power shifter on my raptor and it makes a lot of difference. Shifting into neutral and to all the other gears.

Yep - getting rid of that linkage will make your shifting much more precise!!! We actually just used a stock Banshee shifter and bent it around the case!!! Works great!

How do you like it? I was thinking about buying it, but I ended up ordering the IMS for 25bucks from my local shop...

Default Raptor shifter question?

Why does yamaha put a linkage shifter on the Raptor in the first place, seems like more mechanical complexity/parts/cost. Am I missing something on this or what? Dont have my quad at the house to look at it. I am definitely interested in the Pro Design Power Shifter.

Yamaha does this to make the shifter adjustable. Adjustable for what??? I don't know. Maybe to make it seem more difficult for the garage mechanic. Ditch the linkage-go direct.....
