YFZ Got Red Stickered

You can buy a Non Resident California Sticker here in Nevada for $20 a year. It is not red nor green it is purple. We do not have to register OHV here in Nevada, so when we go to Cali, we have to make sure we have the Non Res. Sticker.

The DMV had originally set it up for 1996 and older would be grandfathered in but, this year they grandfathered everything 2003 and older because they were so confused and were giving green stickers to red sticker bikes.
Glad to hear they are still confused.
I think some of our State workers are really mentally challenged welfare recepients in training for a life-long career of sucking all they can from the tax payers of the state while at the same time trying to get as many businesses and tax paying individuals to move out of the state.

Man, I dont see how you guys stand living out there on the left coas...........ummmm.....I mean west coast. Makes me hopping mad just hearing about it. I think I'd move just across the state line or something. Or find a relative that did. I admire the fortitude of you folks that can stand to stay. I'd be running like a scalded dog.

You are correct (I can's say the "right" it isn't legal in CA).

Reconranger: I was the one somebody metioned that was issued a Red sticker for my YFZ in error. I went down to the DMV office, discussed it with them and they saw the error of their ways. They changed my Red sticker for a green one. Your friend should have no problem going to DMV and straightening this out and gettting a green sticker.

This is a good time to pay attention to anyone who loves to ride and is thinking about moving to California.....especially Southern California. I am slowly working my way out and am convinced that someday I can turn my back on California and say "KISS MY @SS!! HOPE YOU ENJOYED MY INCOME TAX BECAUSE YOU WOUN'T BE GETTING ANY MORE!!"
It's just one of many frustrations us "normal" people who live in California have to put up with.
I was considering buying a 04' WR450 for my 2-wheeler but found out they have become Red Sticker as well. I ride year round so I'm not about to get anything with a Red Sticker.
