Craycraft 686...Trinity 686...Sparks 690...???
I have been looking into all three of these engine modifiers, and I was wondering which is the best one to get. Also, which is the most reliable and has seen the most action, so that I know I can trust my engine after the hop-ups have been done. Trinity Racing claims 60 HP with its 686. I contacted Bob Craycraft, and he replied saying that they have seen increases of 20 HP and more in their Craycraft Racing 686, so that would put the Raptor ar or around 60 HP. I don't really know that much about the Sparks Racing 690 Raptors. What does everyone else think??

I would forget trinity and there 60hp claim. I am partial to craycraft myself. Sparks seems to be hit or miss. some are fast and some are a little faster than the trinity's. Robertson has built a fast 727 (wonder what the motor bill was??) and as far as i know has built less than 5 raptors. Bob Craycraft will build you one from mild to wild. You are on the right track bmxking. Call around and ask to talk to customers that have the built quads.

Got a Craycraft 12:1 Stage 2 686 and love it. The build is very reliable, doesn't use a drop of oil and doesn't run hot. I pound the ballz off mine and it's ready for more every time I hit the starter. You won't find a disappointed Craycraft owner, that should tell you something.
