did any of you find out a good way to get ride of the hard throttle? I am currently looking to buy an edelbrock and this hard throttle thing is kind of making me change my mind. can i run an edelbrock carb with just a k&n air filter and a full comp yoshimura exhaust?

 

Why not just clip a few rings out of the spring till it feels good?

 

you can adjust the thumb throttle on the edelbrock carb. its on the stiffest setting from the factory, and when you lighten it up its much better. its hard to explain how to do it, best bet is to call edelbrock and they will walk you threw it. It takes like 5-10 mins and it will be much better. the best way i can explain it is to say that the spring between the carb and the dial where you connect the cable can be moved. you have to unclip it from its current resting place and it will retract to another spot on the dial.

i don't plan on selling the stock carbs when i get the edelbrock. and the next vid should be coming sometime since i am not working anymore.

 

just cut the spring in half..... thats wht i did to my mikuni 35.5 on my shee and it worked great!
