how fast does your quad go?

My 686 does 119mph with the 12tooth countershaft sprocket on a 18" slick. Of course without rider or wind resistance strapped to a dyno the proof's in the dyno sheet in my pics but who cares about those MINOR details anyhow? I imagine the real world speed would be significantly lower but it's still unnervingly fast.

Atkins. actually I am very happy with my 81.9mph top speed. I know how fast that is and is a great feat for a quad. I know I could go faster because I ping the rev limiter in fifth gear. With an after markrt CDI box that raises the rev limiter by about 300-350 rpm's I probabally could get two to three mph more. These jokes are just pretenders and dreamers with the speeds they wish their machines run.

I hit 86-87 next to a 3000gt on pavement w/ stock tires (which grow ALOT!! when the speeds get above 50mph). I had pipes, reeds, stock topend/clutch and a coolhead at the time. Now I have those mods plus a .20 top-end, razrs and a 15t sprocket, So an HONEST guess would be about the same as b4. Though my 'shee does get there as fast as you can bang the gears.

90% of these posts are lies. why can't people be honest? warrior with no internal mods can't pull over 70 and neither can blasters without internals. be honest people we know the b.s. top speeds.

109.9km/h by trailtech .. allow for front tire slippage on dirt puts it probably at an even 110km/h, then factor in accuracy at probably +/-10% means I could have been going anywhere from 99 - 121km/h. I'm not sure what the accuracy actually is on the trailtech .. anyone know the true +/- ?? I don't think it's as high as 10% tho .. IMO, if my trailtech says I'm doing 109.9, I'm somewhere in the area.
Now, my bike is not stock. It has an FMF slipon and Razr tires. Until tonight those were the only mods. Now I have a 12T front sproket. Estimated new top speed ? 100km/h or so. I also weigh in full dressed for atving in 8°C weather at about 175lbs. I firmly believe that a lighter rider with my same exhaust and 14/40 gearing could probably break the 70mph barrier. I was over 68 and as usual ran out of room .. You need a lonnnnnnnnnnnng stretch to get a warrior up to those speeds, but yeah .. it CAN be done without internal mods. Give or take percentage errors of course. Still for all .. to compare apples to apples .. give all bikes 1000m to get up to top speed .. that then is the bikes top speed and it's the same criterial for all bikes. More powerful machines like rappy's, DS's, banshees, z's and ex's will get to higher speeds in that 1000m, thus have a higher posted top speed. Make sense? A warrior, stock, with a light rider should hit around 60-62.

Ok guys i'm gonna be honest i have two quads. One is a 98 shee that is pretty much stock other than: shaved head, porting, T-5's, carbs (jetting, of course), pro flo kit, and it runs alky; other than that it's pretty stock it will do about 45mph maybe 50mph if i can get going down a hill. Now for my fast quad, and 01 breeze, wow talk about fast! It's soo fast i out ran a Vette one time no prob, the vette driver said he had to be doing +160mph and i was still pulling away. That breeze is probably putting out about 150 hp, that's a guess though. BUZZZZZZZZZ!!!! Ohh that's the alarm i guess it's time to quit dreaming and get up.
