blaster electrical help

Default blaster electrical help

i have a 2001 blaste and i added some lights to it but they dont run because the stator dont put out enough power ...what should i do ..could i put a small atv battery on it ...does anyone know how much the stator puts out ..hopfully someone can help im sort of lost...thank

when you say they don't run? at all? what wattage are they?

yeah they run but not bright enough to do any good ......there is two of them they have 55 watt bulbs ......would i be able to put a battery on it

"You Added some lights" ? Two? How are they wired? In series or parallel? Wire them in parallel for starters...also remember that with the blaster...the lights will only come on and get bright as the engine speed increases...

Twin 55watt fixtures is a bit overkill for a blaster stator...but you should get some light out of them...IF not...try one light and go up from there.

I can't even remember what was on my blaster stock 35 watts?

wattage is to high for a blaster. run two 25 watt bulbs and it lights up good or try one 55 watt.
