I have heard of many grizzly owners in the past have issues riding there machines in water and mud. Something about the steam getting into carb?? Are the 2004 grizzley's having any of these problems? Any info would be helpful!!

I believe they vented the side cowls, and got rid of that problem.

Rackman - Just visited your photo shots. Great photo and story behind the monster W.R. buck. Thanks for setting up the photo on your page.

Never had a water / mud problem with my '02 model. It is completely stock except for what my signature indicates. Thia should be an even less frequent issue with the '04's since they have vented side panels...

Have any of you guys had a problem with reverse being to high geared.
I have 26' mud bugs on a 02 and in the sticky mud they don't turn but in low forward they do.

Rackman - I wias told that the 2004 models had a reverse over-ride or reverse was not restricted. I purchased a reverse override switch for my 2003 but have hesitated to install. Someone told me that in low drive when you lock in the front differential, you also are limited and installing this switch would allow override but could cause the gear box to have a blow out..... ????

What ya think ??
