Default Does Cash Talk?!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh, ok. My dealer is very straight forward with me. They are kind of like family friends now. Anyway I had asked them before and they said that they only get the price paid for the quad, nothing more. They dont ever charge any of the fees other dealers do, only tax and the price you negotiate.

I feel they are being honest with me on this.

Anyway thanks for clearing that up for me.

What do you mean by this? Do the dealers get some kind of kick back or something? Thanks
after thinking about it some more, I'm not sure....
no......it is all the same for them........it is just a matter of when they get it.........I think they(if you talk to the money person"owner") will prolly make you a slightly better deal on a cash deal........because they get the money then......but if it is on the card then they get it at the end of the month......

It also never hurts to offer a lower price because the only thing they can do is say no. Wording has a little bit to do with it also. Example: If you say: Will you go down on the price? This gives them a chance to say "no". If you say: How much will you go down? They are more likely to actually go down on the price. It's kinda telling them that you expect them to go down some. Some won't go down on the price but more than if you ask if they will.

I would say have $3500 in cash if you really want the bike and have already thoroughly checked it over, and only have like $3200 visible and be like "$3200 is the best I can do right now" and see what he says. If he says I really have to get $3500 out of it, be like "OK, well, think about it and let me know" then if he doesn't change his mind just pay the man what he's asking, if he is a gentleman about it.
