I am looking into the nitrous setup that ALBA sales (NX Express) for my Banshee. If you look at the Nitrous Express website you can get tons of different size bottles and stuff to use with the setup. Nitrous is a great thing and the nice thing is you can maintain stock rideability when the system is not in use. Just remember TUNING is the key don't get in a hurry and throw the N20 on your machine then blast down the road without first making sure you have the correct heat range of spark plug, correct jetting and such.

If someone pays for the dyno time I'm down! The Docker system is non adjustable, so if I don't win the first time, I'll just put in bigger jets! LOL, who's betting?

No, you can go far bigger than 10hp shots. Mine is being setup for 25hp shots, and it's a boon docker. We have a ton of folks running the boondocker system on their sleds. In my opinion it's no more dangerous, and actually, less dangerous then the other systems.

Well, 25 would be about the biggest you could actually go with a dry system (safely) A wet system will always be able to shoot bigger because you don't have to worry about the risk of running out of fuel (if you jet up the fuel jets accordingly).

By the way, is this on your Grizzly? That would be sweet!

Also, your friends who run it on their sleds, what are they using for a bottle heater? Thanks

Just curious, is Nos out of the question for a hi compression 12:1 motor? I've heard it runs best with low compression. I'm also only interested in a low dosage, say a 10 or so shot. My 686 has plenty of power it's just for the occasional hill or when somebody has really got me out powered.

Nitrous works great with any compression ratio. They key is to keep it from detonating. Alway's use the best fuel available when on the bottle. However, head gasket retention will be much more difficult with a high compression ratio.

Wallstreet~

Yes, the NOS setup is being installed on my Grizz.

The folks who are running them on the sleds, I don't know personally, just know the dealer who orders them in, does the work and actually rides NOS equipped sleds himself. That's Ponderay Yamaha in Sandpoint, ID. They're a great bunch of guys.
