his system eliminates the airbox all together.......it is awesome.......and it flows like a mother scratcher.........

 

I was one of the first to try and it rips,gave me a little advantage [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img] ..and it looks sick, i always used to wonder why no raptors owners ever ran with no airbox.. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

 

sixsixT.... U just using the stock rubber carb to box tubes with that adapter or something different??

 

The stock tubes, the CV carbs need them to run right.

sixsixt...the new intakes look great and I am sure they add extra power, but i still have a question. All the formulas I have used to work out a better intake, seems to indicate that the intake runners should be in the region of about 22" in length if you use the standard diameter pipes that comes with the raptor. No one has made anything close to it. Then to take it a step further. Have anyone made an air intake for the raptor using a Helmholtz resonator. Super bikes, race cars all of them use it, and I believe its an area no one have played with on the raptors. Space will be a problem, but if there is a will there is a way.

 

I know that the filter SixsixT makes is AEWSOME!I have one,and I'll tell ya that if you are lucky enough to get one, you will not be unhappy.My Rappy is going to be on the dyno today at Kenz.I'll post the sheet showing what the air filter setup of SixsixT and a Sparks X-6 will do on a stock bore Raptor.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img][img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

I don't think I would say that it is Drag only...I would just be careful aroung big puddles.I can't wait to get it in the sand this weekend!!!

 

Scary...It clears the K&N's with no issues.I am in love with my Sparks X-6!!!It sounds friken awesome!
