I am also thinking about those. I saw them mentioned in that 730 Grizzly article. They look great. I am not a die hard mudder. I mostly blaze around on hard pack trails & fire roads.
I want a tire that will last long and have great hook up (All around). The four ply rating looks great.
According to ITP they are the same compound and carcus of a blackwater. But cheaper.
Im thinking about giving them a try.

I have the Spider Tracs on my 99 Big Bear and think they are fine. I usually ride on hardpack and forest type surfaces but have tried some serious mud holes. Walks right through the mud and rides a bit rougher than stock, but, So What.
I have heard that they are more wear resistant than some other tires also. Gonna put wheel spacers on "when" they get here to stabilize a bit for the Kentucky hills.
