Another downside to maier is the lack of a hole for the reverse switch. With maier, you have to remount your reverse. I am not to fond of the maier looks either.

i used to have the Fullbore Plastix on my banshee and they were sweet! the plastic is actually thicker than the rest and has a way better shine. The only downfall is the price! I paid 325.00 for the front(full race noce with chrome grill) and i think 250.00 for the rear!

Refused, Do your self a favor and buy some "BullDog Adhesion Promotor" its make by Klean-strip. You should be able to buy this at a good auto parts store. If your going to go the Inexspensive route this is a must for painting plastic.

They also make Paint for car bumpers and other plastic stuff. Together it might turn out better than you would exspect.

I bought a warrior that was purple and wanted to change the color, I couldn't afford new plastic so I found a new spray paint by Krylon. It's called fusion and it worked fantastic. It is chip and scratch resistent is 7 days. There is no prep work needed. Just wash really good and dry and your ready to paint.

Warrior, How long have you had yours painted. 7 days to fully cure? That stuff must be some nasty paint-in.

BTW- Welcome

For those of you who are considering new plastic without the reverse **** hole, go with the DR R Reverse Lever, mounted on the handlebar, that's where it should be from the factory.
