Default Threw chain..... broke case!!

well today i had some bad luck that ended a good riding day.. i was putt'n along in 1st along the river (mabey ten inches of water) tryin to wash off some mud and i heard a terrible noise and stopped movin.. my chain came off on the back and binded up in the front cause'n the thin curved metal piece in front of the front sproket to snap off ... so now i have 2 holes positioned where the bolts for the frt spocket guard was in my case.. slighy bigger than a pencil...not sure what exactly to do?? i have concluded that i really dont need that piece..
Could have it welded back on but couldnt i just have the holes patched.. not like jb weld.. but welded over well anyway that should do it right?? and i should be able to do it without pulling my motor out i hope anway

i think one thing that lead to this cause was my frt sproket is bad.. the chain was loose.. looser than i thought anyway.. wasnt when i left.. and my buddies think mabey a rock/pebbel got lodged up in the rear sproket

That happened to my friends warrior and we just JB welded the piece back on with a heavy coating of JB weld and it worked fine. All you really got to do is plug the holes, I'm not sure if you can weld that or not. Check that your rear chain guide isn't worn out, thats what happened to my friends.
