I use scott web(i think thats what there called) grips, i havent had a blister yet. my friend has stock grips on his banshee and he had 2 blisters the size of quarters and one the size of a dime on his hand after we rode at the track.

Soft grips definetely leave more blisters than hard ones. I have tried wearing athletic tape around my hands because of the blisters, but nothing works. I have noticed that my hands cramp up and are stiff with soft grips because you have to hold on to them so much tighter. I never had blisters with stock grips, but once I got this gel crap, my hands have been nothing but blisters and callises(sp?).

I've got Scott compII atv grips on my wolvy right now. There about worn out. Ihave a new set of the Scotts and a new set of those foam soft grips, not sure of the brand. I was going to try the soft ones but after hearing everyone talking bad about them I guess I put the new Scotts on. PS I don't race.

I love my new Oury's, I have a few friends that have them also and they like them as well.
A tip for blisters: Put a little baby powder in your glove and palm of your hand before you slip on your glove, it helps alot.
