I started out on a warrior, and i thought it was the best quad in the world. At the time, it was more than likely the best quad for me to be riding. I would say go with a warrior, the blaster is good too, but it is a hair slower than the warrior, but weighs less. I would say either would be good, the EX's would work out well too. IMO warrior is a very good starter quad, very reliable, and hard to flip.

My vote goes out to the 300ex. Its a great quad, and one that you can grow into without getting tired of it quite so fast. The handling is alot better than the warrior, but both are equally well built. Blasters are tough too though. But I'd say my first choice would be the 300ex.

I have no experience with the 300ex, so i still think Warrior. I've heard warriors are faster than 300ex? Im not possitive, but i think they are. Not that it would matter much on the trails, where handling makes a bigger difference. Maybe look at them both, sit on them, and see which one fits you best.

get a good used Blaster,,,,and learn how to ride without reverse

then step up to a larger bike later

at your size,,,,you will get plenty of speed out of a blaster

thats what i was going to say i would go w/a blaster also ...not just b/c of price but they are very reliable and the powerband is just great on the blaster w/ a simple pipe and k&n filter

The power difference is mostly in the delivery. The warrior is a big long steady pull where as the blaster is a weak tug going up then it hits the power and goes. It actually feels like it has more because of the transition even though it dosent. Pretty much id say warrior for trails and such and blaster if you want to dable in ramping, maybe MX, that kind of stuff. Another thing, your less likely to outgrow the warrior. It will start to feel slow and such but youll still fit on it fine. On the other hand the blaster is cheaper.
