Wet Sand
#2
Id use any kind of hauler type paddles just because thats what I have and like them. I like dry sand alot better than wet because in wet sand it makes deeper ruts and tracks and the gets rough where dry sand just fills back in where u drive over it at.

TX,
What kind of wet sand are you riding? There is a major difference between wet blow sand like at the dunes where paddles would be preferable or wet silt sand like in a riverbed where paddles would beat you to death and be detrimental to your drive train. River sand demands hard pack tires.

If you are going to ride the dunes I recommend paddles. Be careful however, to keep you chain tight and check it a couple of times during the day. Wet sand is very stressful on chains when running paddles and a they can stretch. A loose chain could leave you with a busted case if not taken care of immediately.
