"inline" meaning that it is just like a filter where u cut ur hose placed it in there and then run it? its between ur tank and ur carb? I was thinking and it seems like a good idea considering the fact that i ride at the dunes alot and when filling sometimes dirt may blow by and what not

I use one of those in line filters between the petcock and carb, the sintered metal filter ones. Seems like an ounce of prevention to me.

I use one but it's see through. Don't get one for a lawnmower though, they won't flow enough.

I like the idea, but does it slow down the flow of fuel at all?

i use one and my bike runs fine, i like it because it keeps dirt from going in the carb, i would recomend putting one on.
