I went four a quick ride thismorning, everething went fine untill i stoped. It sputtered, next time it stald. It sounded like it was out of gas or somthing but it still hade half a tank so i put it on resurve and after a while it started. It made it home and i went in for lunch when i came out i started it and let it idle for a while. It worked purfect but it took a while to start. after i wanted to go for a ride so i got geared up and it wouldn't start, it also was making this sortove nocking sound. inspected the plug and it was fine . why wont it start and how do you fix it??

the knocking sound is probably the compression leftover in the cylinder trying to turn the starter backwards but the starter locks up and goes clunk. I would go ahead and check the valves though as they can knock and make it run bad at the same time. After that mess with the petcock valve, move it all around and make sure it isint jammed up.
