Why compare the shee to a warrior. The shee is a twin 350, so bassivly 700cc's warrior has half that and is a 4-stroke. As for handling, they both aren't that good. If you are only trail riding and like to puts around get warrior. If you like to ride real agressive get a shee. shee has alot more power, and alot more room to improve on.

You said in another thread your Warrior would go 73mph. What gives?

I would take a Banshee but if you really ride a lot of trails why not look into a 400EX?

I own both; a '95 Warrior and a '99 Shee. Both are worlds apart, and I'm glad I have both because neither fits both styles of riding which I enjoy. Here is my critique of the two:
The Warrior is wonderful for slow trail riding with occassional fast jaunts. The power band is smooth and predictable, so climbing through rough terrain while still challenging, is controllable. If I stall it, I'm just a button away from cranking it over and picking up where I left off. If I take the wrong route or can't quite make a tight enough turn and find myself staring at a tree, the reverse is priceless for getting my direction back in line. However, once out in the open, the power is marginal at best. I have a high comp piston, exhaust and intake mods, and that helps. I am considering a cam, but I don't want to lose the bottom end that makes trail riding so enjoyable (however, I can get the hp increase w/ a cam then gear it down to compensate for any loss of torque..that's probably what I'll do). With a cam and the above mods, 30hp can be had which is plenty for anything but all out racing.
The Shee is just a whole different beast. Uncivilized in every manner. It has very poor low end torque, making crawling over logs and rocks a challenge. To get over them, you need to rev it up into the powerband, but then manage the crazy power so it gives just enough to get you over the obstacle and not turn the obstacle into a launchpad. If you stall it, you have to kick start it (not always easy if you're in an awkward position). If you get backed into a corner, you gotta get off it and lug the *** end around (again, not always easy depending on the terrain). Now for the positives....damn this thing is fast! The ultimate adrenaline rush. Mild acceleration, then once the powerband kicks in, hang on! The front end doesn't want to stay down, the wheels spin wildly....insane uncontrollable power most useable in open areas.
So, which would I get if I could only choose one? I like the Warrior, I LOVE the Shee! Then again, I ride to ride hard, not to enjoy the scenery around me. However, even though I prefer the style of the Shee, if I knew the bulk of my riding would be at a slower pace through dense woods, my rational side would force me to stick with the Warrior. I have both and I take turns. I go for fast jaunts down the open trails on the Shee, then take the Warrior out for slower, but still challenging, rides through the woods. I actually recently purchased a 2nd Warrior, for my wife. The first one was intended for her, but when she rides (slow trail and woods riding) I prefer to be on the Warrior as well.
I can't comment on the 400EX, Raptors, etc because I'm not too fond of the idea of spending $5k+ on a quad. I bought all three of my quads for less than the price of a new one. If you're looking to buy new, there may be better options out there.
