Default RAPTOR SHOCKS!

Yfz shock will fit you just trim the lower back of the mounting plate and under edge of the upper mounts . about 15 minutes with a die grinder .
Do they help YES are they perfect NO .
want to spend some money and smooth it out ROLL LOBO Long travel with AXIS or PEP shocks Ohlin rear And find someone to set it up for you .
But Hey if you arent going to hit it hard I mean hard dont waste your money .
I think UBETRUN's Idea of adding 2" to the swingarm is a GREAT idea the geometry is much better if your shock is set up for it
Raptor 's in stock form will try and move out sideways when you are in big woops adding +2 in the rear changes geometry and weight transfer .
It for me straightens the bike out help it push forward instead of out to the side .
It's late and thats my 2cents~~~~~~~~~~~~

Don't go with the low end line of Works, I think they are called Steelers, steel your $ is what they will do.
I blew'um all out within months, springs broke and everything, I went back with some used oem's and no problem for 4 years, but I'm not a real big jumper, just drag and surf the dunes.

If your going to go with Works, don't go less than the Pro Series. They are adjustable for compression and rebound. And if you're going to spend that much, go with Elka's. They're a better quality shock. The rear shock on the Raptor is pretty good. Wait till you have your front shocks and see how they work together before buying a rear shock.
