which one of the two 2strokes is faster... on top end and bottom end? Me and my friends are argueing about it i ahve a banshee and he got an old tecate but its doesnt run yet... help me out

 

i dont know too much about the Tecate i know its fast but i would say your Shee would be faster top end

THats a good one....the T-4 was always the powerhouse in the engine dept (as all Kawi's off road engine offerings were back then). I remember the old shootouts where the Banshee would always pull a couple more MPH on the big end.....I would suspect the T-4 was more powerful in the low and mid ranges....but would still kill the 250r and lt250r powerswise. The T-4 was the only upscale sport quad I have never owned.....their only downfall was they were too narrow compared too the competition and had too be widened too handle comparably. The guy that was behind the width must have started working for Yamaha....LOL. The T-4's still look awesome today agianst much newer quads....that says a lot....awesome quad.
