Default Exhaust slip moddification(for Raptor)

I saw that José Luis Álvarez in the Dakar(I think it was the 2002)put a "Harpoon" on,originally intended for a Yamaha YZF 600(It looked SO sweet!),is there anyone that has also moddified a race bike pipe to fit a Raptor?Did it work well? How much would it cost me?Obviously Josés was made by profesionals and it went GREAT!

Default Exhaust slip moddification(for Raptor)

I just modified my Pro Circuit pipe. I got the HMF quiet core, cut a section out of the middle of the inner tube in the Pro Circuit and welded it in. The Pro Circuit made lots of power up top but was WAY too loud to use anywhere I ride. The stock muffler doesn't make much power, but its real quiet. The modifies Pro Circuit went from (guessing) 102 db to about 95-96 db! I can use that.

I could only ride in the yard a little so I'll have to let you know if I lost much power and if the powerband changed much. But If I still get any gain from the stocker (I cant see how it wouldnt) I'll be happy since the Pro Circuit is half the weight and looks much better.
