Default K&N filter questions

Can I put 2 K&N's directly on the carbs and eliminate the airbox all together? Can I also put them on the pro flow adapter if not the carbs?

The carbs don't work as good without the tubes.

I don't think you could find any to fit right on the carbs, they are too close together. Plus there would be no place to hook up the vaccume line off the top of the carbs.

Yes you can IF you cut off the air box, and its not a pretty thing. I did mine like that because I wanted to run without an air box. At the time there was no other way to do it without fabbing some kind of bracket, now there is a much better option.

I see no use for an airbox anyways.
