Default Valve adjustment on 03' Warrior

How necessary is it to keep the valves properly adjusted? How often?

More importantly, how difficult is it for a weekend warrior like myself? Any special tools needed besides feeler gage?

Default Valve adjustment on 03' Warrior

I just adjusted the valves on my '95. Easy job. Basic hex and open end wrenches will do the job. If they are a little loose, they'll clatter. Not a big deal. If they are a lot loose, you can do some damage. The main damage occurs if they are too tight...you can grind away your rocker/cam.
