Man, Pleas4qt, actually hit it on the head. Polaris should be applauded for fixing their tranny problems. I'm still irritated with Yamaha for not fixing the 01's. (cost me a grand to fix)

 

well i figure it this way and i posted it once already.. enuff people think polaris sucks as it is.. and they would just be given them more reason to think so if they didnt fix em.

 

Well I hate to add to the list, but there wasn't a single Predator at the
sand drags that could even come close to my Rappy this weekend at Gordonn's Well.IMO they are just not built for the sand.There is no replacement for displacement.It is just that easy.

Ohhh but there is and its called a 2-stroke.

 

2-strokes are dogs unless you build them to the hilt. I've never been beat by a stock or piped 250r or banshee. Throw thousands into them, and yeah sure, then it's different. Remember when I posted that Predator owners had little man's disease? Well I forgot all about 2-stroke owners. They make everybody look big! LOL

I saw the best sleeper in a Tecate-3!!! It was at comp. hill in Florence, Ore. This peice of junk lookin' thing kept spankin' my buddies well-built Banshee. It thought it sounded kinda' throaty for a 250 2-stroke, and it was. It turned out to be a built to the hilt YZ 490 motor. It looked stone stock in that thing. Being an air-cooled motor it had cooling fins on the cylinder and head! You should have seen how many times my buddy went at this guy, he just couldn't believe it was happening!!!LOL

 

a couple of thousand?! a couple of thousand and an R or banshee will be untouchable by any 4-smoke. $800-1k and an R or banshee will eat a Raptor with a couple of thousand in it.

 

but thats why a pred sucks cuz it doesnt have the extra 160 cc's stop with the "what if's"
