i have ridin a raptors, and riden a z before i got one. the raptor might have a little more power, the z imo is alot of a better bike. hey diescarred, he proboly wanted a raptor after he rode yours because its hopped up more than his bike was and he proboly wanted the speed.

We are about the same size, but i am 2" shorter and maybe a hair lighter... I have no problems controlling the rappy, and its slightly modded. Power is alot of fun, and its pritty good in trails.

It was just a suggestion.

So how about the DVX from Artic Cat or the KFX from Kawasaki???

I know they are the same as the Z's, but I saw a stock KFX with sweet wheels(not sure if they were stock or not but they were awesome). And the new Artic Cat has sweet graphics, and newer plastic then the Z and KFX.

So there are some more options.

if you do anything other than MX then I would get a raptor......but if you plan to put anything on the MX track........I would get a Z

I raced mine on a MX track this weekend...........I pulled the holeshot by about 3 lenghts both times............

but by the second turn I was close to last.............
250r's and 440ex's just sucked me up like I was sitting still in the turns.........and jumps for that matter.......

I cased a double.......(I know it was my fault.........not enough cahonies)
but other than that incident I would have to say that the raptor SUX at MX.......LoL

im 14, 125 pounds, 5 ft 4 in and i throw around a rappy, it has endless power and once you get used to the power you can use it and ride it a whole lot better than when you first got on it, i can throw it around a turn in 3rd or 4th gear no problem

yeah the z is pretty good around a track, i raced 2 guys with raptors on the track at jack frost big boulder and i beat them pretty good, they could have done better if they were better at riding.
