Tell it to hold it's breath and take ten sips of water Just kidding pal. My Wolvy seems to do the same think... worse when its cold...I know the cause of mine is not the slide plunger or the other plunger-(choke??) both of them have been replaced lately. I agree with it probably being the float set a little bit off. Let us know what you find.

I'm not so sure that its the float heigt because when i lean out the mixture screw and it makes it even worse. So i think it's to lean.

A too low float level can cause the idle circuit to not pull enough fuel, and a little air sucked in could lean out the mixture just enough to kill the motor, that could be why leaning the mixture out made it worse. I guess I'll know more after I pull my carb apart and check it out.

I think I figured out hats wrong on mine and maybe yours is the same thing, all i did was clean the 3 little wholes in front of the round valve. what happened was the engine wasn't getting enough fuel because those pilet holes were pluged. WELL, thanks for the help.
