Default YFZ Kick Start Kit

I don't know if this is old news or not but the YFZ kick start kick kit will be available from Yamaha January 2004. At least that’s what they say on their web site. The price will be like $465.00 for the kit. Who’s getting one? I'll be picking mine up ASAP!!!!

Thanks wildman77, I have read on some other sites about the use of the dirt bike components. I'm going to wait and see how the kit looks before I do the dirt bike parts on mine. I would like to get rid of all the electrical on my bike to cut weight. I'm kind of hesitant though because it gets hot in AZ and not having an electric fan could suck even though it's only come on once since I have owned it. If you would, please PM me the site you saw it on though. I may not have been there yet. Thanks

Crash

For the quad, you really need the kickstart extension, and thats like 200 by itself from aftermarket co's. If you don't use it, you'll run into clearance problems with some pipes. I think once you add up all the pieces from the bike, then tack on the extra's, it will be well worth it. Plus, Give Bob at magnolia tractor a call and he'll prob sell it to ya for 400.00, and sell the electrics on ebay for about 150, and you'll be sittin pretty.
Cool, thanks Ridley!! I'll give Bob a call when the kit is available.
