Default MBRP no good, need help :(

Ok, dont anyone take the title the wrong way. MBRP is a great enhaust, Im sure. But I talked to Bob Craycraft this morning who had talked MBRP just b4 and he said that they were not aproved for the spark arrestor on the pipes..... which REALLY SUCKS!! I wanted to get thier pipe because of the performance and the fact that it was suppost to be fairly quiet... but because I want to ride in the PA/MD state forest trails, I cant get it now. So what I need to know from you guys now is which is quieter, the LRD OR and Sparks?? Or is there another I should consider? I need to find out soon, the money the wife set aside to get it is burning a serious hole in my pocket!!

I would seriously consider the Yosh. Has a spark arrestor and the TEC insert kit drops the sound WAY down. Good priced pipe, too.

Dakota- Stay away from sparks. It is louder than you want. Sorry about the MBRP deal.

don't know if the LTE dual exhaust has spark arrestors, but is quiet and looks great.

Where do you ride? I have been to every place in PA and not one person has checked. I know you dont want to be illegal but so long as you have decent exhuast that looks to be in working order and dont act up you will be fine.

I agree. I also agree with 007. Scooby I thought that the LTE was kinda loud but I don't know.

Right now I ride mostly at Tower City and at Rausch Creek, neither of which I have to worry about the spark arrestor.... But, in the spring I know that the wife and I are going to want to ride on some of the state forest areas that will require a spark arrestor Im sure, and I did read that they have a 99 db noise level rule.... that why I was wanting the MBRP, but since the spark arrestor wasnt approved, I dont know what to do now. The guy that I talked to LRD sold the product very well, and said that they were rated at 98 db, which is pretty close but I just dunno. I like the idea of not having to repack it ever 40hrs too with the MBRP.
