what year

Trying to find out what year big bear I have, where do I look to find some #'s on it and what do they mean once I find them. Thanks for any input.

GET YOUR VIN # AND THEN CALL A DEALER ANY DEALER WILL WORK BUT IT WOULD BE BEST TO CALL A YAMAHA DEALER.

Where do I look to find the VIN# on it?

On the tube frame near the right side of the motor, if it's not there call the police and turn it in and tell them where you got it from. Help stop the thieves from taking our favorite pastime from us!!!!!!!!!!!!

what year

Once you find the VIN, look at the 10th character.

3 = 2003
2 = 2002
1 = 2001
Z = skipped
Y = 2000
X = 1999
W = 1998
V = 1997
U = skipped
T = 1996
