That is interesting, they just bolt in? I may have to get some, sounds like the best idea I have heard yet. Do you have any pics?

Yep, they just bolt in. I'm always looking for cheap mods. I did my R&D at the local Yamaha Stealer with my tape measure. Sorry, no pics.

There is a guy around here that TheRaptorMan know's named Randall. He has a Bud Light 770 Raptor, and he put Blaster shocks on his. Lowered his 3.5' and widened it just over a 1.5'

So that's another way to lower them. But the lowering kit drops them 4' in the front, and makes the front 2' wider. It is a great mod, and they have a pic of the Raptor with the lowering kit.

www.cfmracing.com

The kit cost about $55 for the front lowering kit, shipping included.

So you can swap shocks and lower the Raptor as well. Apparently Warrior shocks will work, but Blaster shocks drop you the most. But again, I like my lowering kit. And BIGSCARY, if you aren't jumping real high, I'm sure the kit wouldn't do any damage. I have jumped some minor things, and I haven't had a problem. I definetly don't try to catch major air, but still.

I would not "air" it out with the lowering block on there. I usually take mine off when dune riding or jumping. At the drags i usually but the lowering block on with a pair of 18 inch front tires and with my TCS front shock the front end will hoover about 6 to 10 inches off the ground.

With 20' tires, and the lowering blocks on...mine hovers around 7' off the ground. That's a favorable distance....with a certain friend on the bike it's about 6' off the ground. lol
