Default Swingarm Question

How many of you guys with +4 inch swing arms just run an heavier spring on the rear shock without re-valving the shock? Is this possible or even recommended? I know allot of guys tell me that The rear shock needs to be re-valved for an extended swing arm period. I don’t do allot of jumping, although I will launch off some razor backs here and there, sometimes by accident ..

thanks

Default Swingarm Question

I put a +4 swingarm on my Wife's Raptor. I just adjusted the stiffness a bit. With her weight 125 lbs. I don't plan on re-valving or anything right now. I'll probably get her a set of new front shocks next year and when I do I'll go ahead and have the rear-shock done.

I think Works will re-do it for a fairly reasonable price.

Raptor03>> did you add an Eibach spring to the shock to stiffen it up, if so how much was it? and about how much do you weigh.. I'm in the 165-175lbs range. I think i'll just do what u did.

Had my +4 on there for a year now and didn't change anything with the shock, it works great! I didn't even notice a change in the suspension after I got it on. You should be fine.
