Default Jumping

i have an 02 raptor are u able to jump if u have a lowering kit or have wheel spacers. Im not sure becuz some people say u can and other say u can't

You CAN'T jump with the lowering kit... You CAN jump with wheel spacers but it puts more stress on everything so if you have the stock axle, plan on bending or breaking it.

my friend put wheel spacers on his rappy and jumps it all the time and has never had any problems with the axle bending or breaking...... as for the lowering kit... i wouldnt try it lol

Well that's great to hear.... But the way I jump I would definatly have it bent or broke.... I had my DS650 axle so bent that the machinist that straightend it on a press almost broke the machine trying to get it straight, but that's what you get from an 80ft flatlander jump landing on one rear wheel.... I'm very surprised I didn't scuff my sac on that one..[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif[/img]

Well I never really had a problem with the axle bending with offset wheels, which is sorta like wheel spacers? But I have a rappy axle on my shee and did a 25 foot air to flat sand and the axle faired fine. But the rims bent [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img]. Damn them sheer drops on dunes! [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]
