I am 41 and would only recomend the Raptor to those people who want to have fun. It's an excellent all around machine with tons of potential for more power and handling, it can be set up for any style of riding and can accel at most.

 

38 and holding, the Raptor helps keep me young.

 

dad is 46 i think. and the raptor is his and he loves it!

 

When my dad was 57 I dragged home a Suzuki LT 230. He says "What the money burnin' a hole in yer pocket...." as he's getting on it and starting it up. He bought two of them about a week later.

Now he's 70, loves riding around his ranch all the time, and doesn't plan on ever stopping. The mufflers are rusted clear off, and they have about ten million miles on them, and they just keep going.

Money well spent.

I'm 48, and ride my raptor as hard and fast as I can, my close group of riders are 47, 48 and 48. We just take more breaks.

 

I know this is not a raptor, but my dad is 50 and has a very moded Banshee!! And i dont even have any mods on my shee yet...

 

I'm 46, recently retired from the Air Force and I love my Raptor. I like riding any quads. We can be at the dunes and everybody takes off on the bigger bikes and only leaves me the TRX90 and I can still have a good time.

However, when they return and I fire up that 660R, I can't help but smile. Your riding along in the dunes and give it a little throttle and it will lofts the front end in the air, well it is that smile thing again.

It is kind of like 67 Chevelle SS 396. It doesn't have the best handling, it may not have the best brakes and there are days when it isn't the fastest, it is just cool and when you fire it up your nieghbors start having sex.

 

4464- Bob craycraft had one of the first raptors around in the DFW texas area. His son was going on a dune trip and his dad decided to go. His son did not know about the raptor and was saying that pops was going to have a hard time keeping up. The day of the trip Bob showed up with the raptor. His son's jaw dropped to the ground. lol They now have 3 raptor in the stable for the 2 of them. Go for it.

 

Do any of you aggresive over 40 raptor riders stand up when you ride????

If so,,,do you have any sore knees because of it???
