I'm 45 and thinking about buying a raptor, I mostly trail ride and I admire the power of the 660 motor. How do you guys like the quad? Is it smooth riding or bone jarring. Thanks for any input!

 

Im 40 and the friend I ride with is 44, we both have 02 Raptors and they kick butt. It is a quad with great power and I like the ergos on it. I dont think you will be dissapointed. From some of the posts, I dont think you will find it the most reliable quad out there, I replaced a tranny as have many others. Besides that, it has been nothing but pure fun.

 

I'm 16, but my Dad is 50 and loves it, except that he always complains about how loud the pipe is. He has never ridden it on the bottle, so that should be pretty interesting...

 

I'm over 40 and have a blast on my raptor. Some say the shocks are to soft. If you want to improve the ride you can get some aftermarket shocks for it later on.

 

42 and love mine. Comfy, rides really good, for trail riding you can't go wrong, especially if you're 6' tall or more. Also the Z400 is a great trail choice.

 

I'm 49 & love riding the dunes & trails. Been known to keep up & pass the younger crowd.

 

I am 56 and love the dunes. I mostly ride Pismo, Absolutely love Oregon the best, Glamis is spooky. Had my raptor since 2002, still love it.

 

I am 40 and Bob Craycraft is older. Then most of the time at the dunes we meet up with Ralph (pushing 70 on his raptor) and then there is Dick is retired also. We drag some 16 to 25 year olds with us for entertainment and have somebody to load the trailer.

So buy a raptor and go have fun

 

im 33 but all my friends are less than 25 and make me feel like im 60 [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] does that count?? hehehe

 

I'm 43 and had a heart transplant in 1995 and i am generally the sweep but i can give the young ones a run for their money on the dunes but am happy just cruising and picking up the pieces.I get to see a lot of ship mixers. ha ha
