I plan on running some additives for drag racing.........but I will not be running it for trail ridding.......
would it make sence to install a dial a jet for this reason?
that way I could richen it up (for the additive) without pulling the carbs and changing mains?
but I have heard some bad things about dial a jet........
I heard that with it you can't go through any water.......and you have to be REALLY carefull washing it, so that you dont' get water/dirt in the intake hoses......
is that correct?

 

Yeah, you dont want to get water on the dial a jet just like you dont want to get water in your airbox. I would definately purchase one, they are worth their weight in gold here read this www.thunderproducts.com/dial_a_jet_techpaper.htm you will be amzed what those little babies can do!
