i am thinking about buying a blaster pretty soon and i was wondering if it is very good in the sand dunes stock or would you have to modify it a lot to get around good. My friend let me ride his and i liked it we rode in the woods and it ran great and had plenty of power to get up some very steep hills but they were dirt not sand will they get up steep sand hills and will it bog down the motor with sand tires on it just riding it in just a flat sandy area.
Any info will help.

I'd say, stock with paddles you probably have some power problems. Unless you put in new reeds, reed spacer, vito power piston, bigger carb, shaved the head, ported, and pipe, silencer combo. That would probably get you going pretty good.

Or you could get someone to bore it out to a 240, then you would be really going. That can be done for under 500. I just suggest getting a bigger carb. They are around 208 for a Kehin 34mmPJ.

If you can get the quad for 3,000 out the door and put another 800 in it, you'd have a kick *** blaster! That's what i plan on doing.

Hey i own a 98' blaster and if you put paddel's on it the engine will bog down..

But you can make some changes and you can go just about anywhere you want to go..

My blaster has blackwaters on it and if your going to run in the sand leave the stock tire's on it because your engine will try them fast eithe to get across the sand ..

I had a 98 blaster that was ported polished and had a dg pipe silencer and a rad valve it was FAST nothing like my 250r my 250r is unbelievablely fast. I think that if U would have it ported polished pipe silencer rad valve carb piston and bored U would have a mean *** blaster I never had paddles on mine but I KNOW it would have pulled them fine as long as i didn't get some to tall or with to many paddles.

You 250R owners are lucky,

I almost got one last weekend. A guy wanted my Blaster and dirt bike for one. But he backed out. He said that his son didn't like the blaster.

It was a nice 86.

Straight up your a.. (ha,ha,ha) that was so funny I just spit my drink on my desk. Warriors are great but dont knock the blasters man! I'd put my Ct240 up to a warrior any day again. Bring it on BABY! YA BABY! I want to get some paddles for my blaster too for trips to the sand. What am I talking about thats all that is around my dammit! Blasters are great little machines with endless mods for them. And they are so lite you can whip them in the air like it was nothing.
