Water in swing-arm bearings

Default Water in swing-arm

This may be a stupid Q??? but is there anything that I need to do after riding in water several time as maost of the time I cross the river the water is above the swingarm.

Default Water in swing-arm bearings

I use anti seize to lube my swingarm bolt, it works very well. I like to occasionally remove the bolt (very easy, once a month) lube it up with anti sieze and put it back in. Anti sieze doesnt dry out and gum up like grease.

Also try not to power wash the area of any bearings, water will get in quicker that way then deep water crossings.

Default Water in swing-arm bearings

You might think about wheel bearing grease used for boat trailers. It has a very high water resistance.
