There was a post just like this the other day. Actually, putting the 14 tooth sprocket on slowed you down. You would actually be faster if you went down to a 12 tooth sprocket. That may not make sence, but you will be quicker off the line and also be able to stay in the upper RPM range. Then start working on your pipe filter and jet work.

Default Stock Raptor

I weight 135 and he weights 160 i weight lighter then him. The Banshee goes 78 and my Raptor will only go 74. in drag races i beat him all the way until top speed and he just goes by me like nothing. First I run a 87octane and that will make my raptor run faster and better your saying. Change spark plug. Clean filters. and that all will make my quad run faster and better

What is the 14min adapter? I just got my rappy and got a gyt-r slip-on and now i need a filter set-up. Thanks in advance. Chris

Yes sir, check and clean your filter. Check your plug to see if your jetting is on, and rejet if you're too rich or too lean. And running regular 87 octane fuel will give you more power unless you bump up the compression.

Those are just simple things, but if you want to spend a little money get a pipe, filter, and jet kit.
