Hello all, I was wondering if any of you might be able to help me out before I go with my final option (taking my raptor to the dealer for repairs)

I have an 01 raptor and for some reason it isn't driving right. Basically, it's not as fast as it is suppose to be. My friend has another 01 raptor that is completely stock, and when I ride his, his jumps in first gear. Its very easy to pop wheelies in his, but mine has some minor upgrades and is nowhere as powerful (especially in first gear) as his. Not to mention, I also have an 04' Z400 (suzuki) and even the z400 takes off faster in first gear. My second gear does have some kick to it, but for sure my first is not taking off right.

Currently my raptor has a carburator jet kit, and a performance air filter, with the full yamaha GYt-R exhaust and headers.

Any thoughts would greatly be appreciated.

 

Is the ifle mixture a bit rich?
Adjusted your valves lately?

 

So the valve's or fuel mixture really can make that much a difference?
