Does anyone know if there are any aftermaket parts out for the new Kodiaks yet? EG: Hi flow Exaust, K&N Filters, etc... I want more POWER!

K&N is looking at this Fall to have one out. I call every so often because they record all requests. Do it and maybe it will be out sooner.

Someone is making a 500cc kit for it because I read where a Kodiak placed 4th in a cross contry race. 4wheel Action maybe. Or was it that new mag that was sent out free recently?

I've had a K&N air filter in my 2000 Kodiak since the day I bought it. A 99 filter is the same. HighLifter has a pipe kit for a 2000 Kodiak. I also noticed that pro-flow now has a new air-filter kit for a 2000 Kodiak, as well as a do-hickey that goes on the water line to make it run cooler, although I have not experienced over heating.

You can get a supertrap IDS2 [pipe] from rocky mountain atv. I bought one last month. I they had another one in stock. you might ask them to check to see if it has the main mounting bracket in the box. I was told last month when I recieved my pipe and the main bracket was missing that, when they called supertrap about it, supertrap forgot to ever fabricate the part and that only 15 had ever been built. I like the pipe and the bike seems to perform better and has a cool sound too. I also put some of those little blue filter ports in my air box lid, I think those help a little bit too.

I don't think the 00 and 99 filters are the same. 00 is liquid cooled and 99 is air i doubt that they both have the same filter.
