do u think a banshee would out run a 250r in a drag race (top speed).

 

a banshee will go as fast as your wallet will let it go. then again so will a 250

 

Stock vs. Stock the shee will edge it. But try and find a stock shee and r to prove that.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

 

Stock yes, piped, yes, etc..... dollar for dollar the 250r starts to be faster when you dig into the motor because you only have to buy one of everything but then it hits the roof and the banshee still has a ways to go.

 

there is a stock 250r in the local newspaper right now.....Maybe I'll go take a look at it...they are asking $800. Something must be wrong.

 

It may be a 250R ATC (3 wheeler), not the quad. The ATC's are quite a bit cheaper.

 

actually....I called the number... it is a 250r quad. lady said it was her sons..and he was not home.... but she thought it ran and was unsure what year it was.

I'll try them again later.

 

Buy it now. That is a great deal if it runs and is in decent shape.

 

Maybe it's an LT250R? Even if it is though it should be worth that price.

 

Unless it's an '85-86 Lt250r...no powervalve..junk. Not worth $800 IMHO. Easy way to tell: the 87's+ have blue engines and t shaped seats, the earlier ones don't.
