I actually was going to sell the Raptor and get a 450, so I decided to sell the exhaust seperate. But after some seat time on the 450, I decided to stay with my Raptor, so I decided to try a different exhaust. The Yosh is louder, but I just carry the quiet kit with me.

 

I love my Alba pipe.

 

i know this doesn't count on a rappy, but....

a buddy of mine has a z400 with the yoshi system and my best friend has a z400 with the alba system....the alba pipe has taken the yoshi everytime they have raced. so....

 

I am happy with my WB R4. I got the pipe and the motor mods at the same time so couldnt say what the power gain from the pipe alone is.

 

I have the BIGGUN head pipe and silencer. I was ready to sell my quad untill I put the pipe on. It realy made my quad come alive. I ride @ GLAMIS and I like to ride with shorts on; You will feel no heat from the header. I have friends that have other pipes and have to wear long pants. Also you live in Ont. they are located in Rancho Cucamunga, real close. Bring cash and you will get great deal, I did.

 

thx rapanator.... was wondering about the "Big Gun" .... my son has a Bomb. DS90 4 stroke. it seemed a lil sluggish, slow response, so I put a big gun race series on his little 90 and couldn't believe the difference, but had not talked to anybody with an "adult quad" with a Big Gun. I have a couple buddies at Montclair Yamaha and they were pushing hard on the Big Gun for my Rap. but not being too familiar with it, I hadn't really thought too much about them with all of the bigger names out there. I don't want a "wheely machine", just want some boost, HATE wearing pants when riding, I live in shorts, so I can appreciate your point in your post.

 

I like my big gun full system. Some re-jetting and a filter and pow! what a difference. Big gun also offers rider support for racers. But don't buy direct from them, I got a sweet deal from my local dealer.

 

I'm running the GYT-R slip-on and thinking about going with something else...it works great though..any pipe you go with will give you around the same amount of power...Most systems average around 7 or 8 extra ponies....So you won't notice that big a difference on any particular system until you start modding your engine...So just go with what you can afford and what you like best...JMO
