Raptor main jet and float problem
I was helping my buddy with his 400ex and we were changing out his main jet and theres a jam nut on
the main jet i guess to help put the main jet further down into the bowl, anyways i wonder if i could go
buy a low profile jam nut and go by the same principal on my raptor. It works on the 400ex and the basic
format is the same just put your jam nut on the main jet and then run up in your carb and bam! the main
jets is deeper in the bowl maybe fixing the problem with the cutting out in extreme angles.

Isn't there a saying about exp. being the best teacher. Give it a try.
Whats happening when you wheelie is the main is sucking to much fuel, not too little. Lowerring the main more into the fuel is just going to make the problem worse...IMO, but it never hurts to try.

Take a glass, fill it 3/4 full of water, stick your finger in the middle of the hole just above the water level, and turn it on its side with you hand coverring up the rest of the hole.
How wet does your finger get?

yea but i figured a bowl is not as deep as a glass nor is a finger as big as a main jet
but when it wheelie it gets gas then it quits getting gas then it gets gas again i thought maybe its because the bowl is full but its not just quite at the level of the main jet
so basicallly the bowl is full at the angle but its not at a approperate level to have a constan flow of gas and when it wheelies it starves for fuel thats why its cutting out
Im not saying your a dumb or saying i know more than you do ,its just i really am curious about it. Why does the 400ex have one it has to be good for somthing then again it is a honda.
